Hysteria.
Her eyes darted to the right, as the lights flickered and finally died.
3 months...3 months she'd been left here, and she couldn't take it anymore.
She wasn't crazy, and she knew it...she couldn't remember the last time she woke up and wasn't forced to take pills, the nurses watching her with every turn. She'd been framed dammit! FRAMED....she knew she hadn't made up the voices inside her head...she KNEW that there was SOMETHING inside of her...she just didn't know what it was yet.
Her fierce green eyes watched as the shadows began their subtle dance across the walls, inviting her in, urging her to touch them, but she only drew herself closer against the cold steel of the door with the nonmoving shadows.
"Leave me alone..." She said softly, watching as the shadows moved to the other walls, and laughing began, inside her head. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" She shouted, trying to make herself as small as possible so the shadows couldn't get to her. How she hated the shadows...They never stopped...
She hadn't slept in weeks. They were waiting for her to finally pass out in exhaustion, but she knew that one of those pills was caffeine.
They were studying her...like a lab rat...and they were testing...testing on all of the ''patients'' at this asylum. She knew good and well what was going on. Most of the people there were like her. All battling with their own very real demons.
She knew she had to get out of here. Nothing would keep her here any longer.
They were only getting closer.
